Create Graffiti Text Effect in Photoshop for beginners

If you want to make a Graffiti, you are in the right page. Because now I will share the knowledge about How to make Graffiti in Photoshop.

Before, we are starting to start to Edit, we will discuss about the meaning of Graffiti. So, what is Graffiti ?. Graffiti is writing or drawings made on a wall or other surface, usually without permission and withing public view. Graffiti ranges from simple written words to elaborate wall paintings, and it has existed since ancient times, with example dating back to ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, and the Roman Empire ( source : Wikipedia).

OK, then before I starting to explain the Photoshop Tutorial, I want to show up the result of Graffiti Text, look at the picture below :

Create Graffiti Text Effect in Photoshop for beginners :

• STEP 1

The first step of How to make Graffiti Text in Photoshop is, you need to install Graffiti font on your computer. In here for the font name or font type is font El & font Urban Calligraphy.  If you guys, don' have this font type yet, you can download in this link.

• STEP 2

The second step is, open your Adobe Photoshop. Then make the New Document, and New Worksheet. By pressing Ctrl + N on your keyboard. And set the Worksheet size, 1000 x 600 pixel. Actually, you can use other size. 

• STEP 3

The next step of How to make Graffiti Text in Photoshop is, click on File menu > Place embedded, then choose wall picture that you want. If you don't have Wall Picture, you can download on Google Image.

Then make the Text as you want by using Horizontal Type Tool (T). In here I am writing 'Tutorial89', by using font type El & font Urban Calligraphy, and for the font size is 120pt.

The fifth step of Cool illustrator Tutorials is, use a right click on Text Layer, then choose Converter to Shape.

Click Ctrl + T, then set the Text to follow shape of the wall. You can set by clicking small square by pressing Ctrl button on keyboard.

The seventh step of Cool illustrator Tutorials is,  change the font color. In here, I am changing Black color to the Red color ( you can use other color, as you want ). And add more Stroke effect, black color.

By click on Text Layer > choose menu layer > layer Style > Stroke. Then change the Opacity to 73%.

The next step of Adobe illustrator Tutorials for beginners is, click on Add Layer Mask icon, then activate Gradient Tool (G).  Then you need to make a line, like in the picture below. OK, you can add more effect, or text to make the result better than us.
