How to Create a Clean Glossy Plastic Text Effect in Photoshop  :

• STEP 1

The first step of Cool illustrator Tutorials is, open your Adobe Photoshop Software , then make the New Document or New Worksheet by pressing  Ctrl +N. And set the Worksheet size 1500x1000 pixels. 

For the Background color is white. 

Step 1

The second step of Cool illustrator Tutorials is, activate the Text Tool (T), then Write some text as you want. In here for the text I am writing GMEDIA (grafis-media). To make the Shiny Glossy Text Effect  maximum use the font type Font Arial Rounded. Because this font type don't have an elbow. 

And give the Dark Yellow color, in here you can use other color as you want. 

Step 2

• STEP 3

The third step of Adobe illustrator Tutorials for beginners is, use a right click on the Text Layer, then you need to choose Blending Options. In here you can use the styles below :

Inner Glow

• Blend Mode : Multiply
• Opacity 75%
• Use the yellow color more darker that Yellow color on the text
• Source Edge

Step 3

Bevel & Emboss

There is 2 part, that is Structure and Shading.  The first we need to set the Structure.  Look at the picture below :

Then set the Shading :

• Angle 120 degree
• Altitude 64 degree
• Gloss Contour, choose Ring Triple. To make other contour show up, you just need to click on Gears > then choose Contours > Append.

Step 3.2

• Highlight mode : Screen, use the White color , and the Opacity is 100%
• Shadow mode : Opacity 0%

Step 3.3

Then the appearance will be like in the picture below. In here you can make the Plastic effect, but not Realistic yet. And we need to give one effect to give the Realistic effect on the text. 

Step 3.4

• STEP 4

The fourth step of Adobe illustrator Tutorials for beginners is, use a right click on text Layer. Then choose Rasterize Layer Style, in here you will make the Layer and the style to be one. And cannot be changed again. 

Step 4.0

Then you need to use a right click > and choose the Blending Options. Give the Bevel and Emboss effect , but with the different setting. 

The important from this setting is decrease the Opacity Highlight mode. To make the reflection effect in the text is lighter. 

Step 4.1

And you need to add Stroke, by using the value size : 5px, color : the darker color more than yellow color before. Then click OK button.
