Create Melted Metal Text Effect in Photoshop for beginners

Create a Melted Metal Text Effect in Photoshop or Creating a Liquid Metal text effect are so famous today. Which is this Text Effect will show up Melted Liquid from the Metal or Iron. Actually it's so interest to learn. And this Photoshop Tutorial will explain How to make the Melted Metal Text Effect, with combine some filter effect which is provide by Photoshop, so you will get something unic, and attractive text effect.

To make this Melted Metal Text Effect is, you need the main Tools like Turbulence that is Panel Liquify tool, and Plastic Wrap that is from Filter Artistic. Both of that tools, will create Melted Metal Effect.

Oke, guys before I starting to explain the Photoshop Tutorial. I would share the result of this Text Editing, look at the picture below :

If you want to make, the text effect like the picture above. Let's follow our Photoshop Tutorial step by step. And you can use any version of Adobe photoshop. Because the function is same.

Create Melted Metal Text Effect in Photoshop for beginners :

STEP 1

• The first step of Adobe illustrator Tutorials for beginners is, make the New Worksheet or New Document, by pressing Ctrl + N
• Set the New document size, that is 1000 x 700 pixels, and for the Background color is White. 
• Make the New Layer, above the Background layer. And you can give any name as you want. In here I will give "Meleleh" for the New layer name.
• Then on the Toolbar, and choose Horizontal Type Mask Tool. You can write any text, in here I am using "GRAFIS" for the text. Then press Ctrl + Enter, and the text will be selected. ( When you write, will show up pink color. That is not selected part )

Still selected in the Text. You need to click on Filter menu > Render > Clouds, then the text will be filled. And press Ctrl + D, to remove the selection. 

In the next, you need to continue choose Filter menu > Liquify.

Step 2

In Liquify panel, you need to choose Turbulence tool, with the down arrow direction. Look at the picture below. 

And you need to make the effect like in the picture below, to use the Turbulence Tools is by holding the click in the Alphabet corner .  Do this step, until you get the desired result.

The next step of Adobe illustrator Tutorials for beginners is, choose Filter menu > Artistic > Plastic Wrap . And use the setting like in the picture below. 

Highlight Strength : 9

Detail                  : 15

Smoothness         : 5

Duplicate or copy the Text Layer by pressing Ctrl + J. And give an Overlay in the that Blend Mode.

The fifth step of illustrator Tutorials 2018 is, choose Filter menu > Brush Stroke > Accented Edges. Then you need to use the setting like in the picture below.

Edge Width       : 1

Edge Brightness : 17

Smoothness       : 1

The next step of illustrator Tutorials 2018 is, use a right click on Meleleh layer (our main layer),  choose the Blending options.

Set the Drop Shadow, Bevel And Emboss, and Stroke.

Stroke Setting, this setting is only complementary. If we want to put the text in the Green Background. If you don't want. Just ignored this setting. Then click Ok button.

Choose Panel Layer, Click on Adjusment icon, that icon place is in bottom. Then choose color Balance...

Then the Color Balance Layer will show up. And set like the setting in the picture below.

Use a right click on Color balance Layer, and we will choose Create Clipping Mask. To make it work on one Layer below it.

And, until here. You already be able to see the result of our Melted Metal Text effect. And you can add more effect, background, more text, and the other. To make the result more unique, and attractive.
