Create Glass Text Effect in Photoshop for beginners

OK guys, if you want to make the result of Create Glass Text Effect in Photoshop, in here I will explain. And to make like that picture, we will use some filter that is provide in Photoshop. So, this Photoshop Tutorial will give you a knowledge about Combine several Filters to get unique, and attractive image.

Create Glass Text Effect in Photoshop for beginners :

• STEP 1 

The first step of Adobe illustrator tutorials for beginners is, open your Adobe Photoshop Software, then make the New Worksheet or New Document. And set the size, it's up to you for using any size. In here I am using 1200 x 900 pixels.

Then you can write the text as you want. In here for the text I am using "GRAFIS ", for the font type is Futura.

Use a right click on text Layer, and choose Rasterize Layer.  Then you need to hold the Ctrl button, then click on Thumbnail Layer, to make the object automatically selected, look at the picture below.

The third step of Adobe illustrator tutorials for beginners is, still in selected condition, you need to choose Filter menu > Render > Clouds . Then remove the selection by pressing Ctrl + D.

The next step is choose Image menu > Adjustment >  Posterize.

And will show up the Setting box , then input the value, in here I am using 10 for the Levels. Why I use Levels value is 10, that is to make the contour of Image like in the picture below. But in here you can choose any value as you want.

After that, we will make smooth the different color by choose Filter menu > Noise > Median. Then input the value of Radius, in here I am using Radius = 5 pixels. Then click on OK button.

The next step of Cool illustrator Tutorials is, choose Filter menu > Stylize > Glowing Edges. Then set the value like in the picture below, to make the contour of Text like in the picture below. 

• Edge width : 14
• Edge Brightness : 4
• Smoothness : 6

The next step of Adobe illustrator tutorials for beginners is, use a right click in Text Layer, and choose Blending Options, then use a Gradient Overlay.  

• Blend Mode : Multiply
• Gradient : look in the picture below.

Then duplicate a Layer by clicking Ctrl + J, then we need to add one more effect. Choose Filter menu > Brush Stroke > Crosshatch. And follow the setting like in the picture below.

• Stroke Length : 38 
• Sharpness : 8
• Strength : 2

The next step of Cool illustrator Tutorials is, make Blending mode on the Layer to the Overlay.

Then the result will be like in the picture below :

• STEP 9 - Add Reflection Effect.

You need to selection 2 Layer that we made before. And make to the 1 group by pressing Ctrl + G. And continue with press Ctrl + Alt + E, to make the Combine Layer to the one New Layer. Then you need to press Ctrl + T, then use a right click and choose Flip Vertical.  Then place it, to the bottom of text. 

Step 9

Choose Filter menu > Distort > Ripple > Give value : -105 %, size Large.

Then, to make the Background like in the picture below. You can follow the step to make the text Effect. From the step 1 until Step 9. And place Layer Background to the bottom of Text Layer.
