Create Beautiful Glass Texture in Photoshop easily

Today I would share about Create Beautiful Glass Texture in Photoshop Tutorial. And actually this Texture or Gradient are so amazing, and attractive. You can use this Glass Texture for background, wallpaper, and the others.

This Glass Texture can be used as a design and material complement on the 3 dimension Application, just like 3D max, and Sketchup.

And in here we will make Frosted Glass. Which is has characteristic have a texture. And before we are starting to make this Glass Texture, I will show the result of our Photoshop Tutorial. Look at the picture below :

Create Beautiful Glass Texture in Photoshop : 

• STEP 1 - Make the New Worksheet

STEP 1

The first step of Create Photoshop Glass Surface is, you need to make the New Document or New Worksheet in Adobe Photoshop Software. By pressing Ctrl +N.

Then set the New Worksheet size, in here I am using 1200 x 800 pixels, and the resolution is 300 pixels/ Inch.

And press OK button.

• STEP 2 - Use Render Cloud Filter

The second step of Adobe Illustrator Tutorials for beginners is, you need to ensure the color of Foreground and Background is Black and White, press D. 

After that you need to choose Filter menu > Render > Clouds . And will show up the shape like a collection of clouds. 

And this is the basic shape of Glass Texture, look at in the picture below.

• STEP 3 - Add Filter Noise

The third step of illustrator Tutorials for beginners step by step is, Add  more black points in the picture with Filter Noise. This filter is aiming for a denser Image. You need to choose Filter menu > Noise > Add Noise  . You need to give the Amount 10%, choose Gaussian , Checklist on Monochromatic. 

• STEP 4 - Give Plastic Wrap Filter

STEP 4

The fourth step of Mirror Gradient Photoshop Tutorial is, choose Filter menu > choose Artistic > Plastic Wrap. Then set the Setting : 

• Highlight Strength : 7
• Detail : 8
• Smoothness : 9, 

And press OK button.

• STEP 5 - Give Glass Filter

STEP 5

This is the last step, and actually this is the main step. And we will set the main setting. That is give the Glass Filter. The function of Glass Filter is, make an object to be like Glass Effect. Set like the setting below :

• Distortion : 16
• Smoothness : 3
• Texture : Frosted
• Scaling : 100%

And press OK button.

And the result will be like in the picture below. Actually this Tutorial is the Basic of Glass Texture. You can modified by yourself, with using your photo Background, or the others. Please develop this Effect, by yourself.
