How to Create Neon Text Effect in Adobe Photoshop Software

Hello guys, today I gonna share Photoshop Tutorial. But in here I won't make Photo Editing Tutorial. And I will share Text Editing Tutorial. 

Ok guys, in this stage I will share How to make Neon Effect in Photoshop, and this Text editing are so easy. Include for the Beginners.

Before starting to edit the text, The fist I will share, the result of  How to make Neon Effect in Photoshop Tutorial. This is the result :

How to Create Neon Text Effect in Adobe Photoshop Software easily :

1. Open your Adobe Photoshop Software First. And it's up to you for using any version of Photoshop. In here I am using Adobe Photoshop CS6 version.

And prepare the wall picture for the Background of your Neon Text Effect. But if you don't have wall picture, it's up to you for using any picture for the Background.

2. The second, we need to coloring the Wall by clicking Create New Fill and Adjustment button, that is circular shape below the Layer Panel, then choose Hue / Saturation.

3. Then we need to set the coloring as in the picture below. In here set the , Saturation : -60, and Lightness : -93

4. In the fourth step, make the New Layer, and in this New Layer we need to give an effect by clicking Filter menu > Render > Clouds . And change the Blending Mode to the Divide.

5. In this step, make the text. It's up to you for using any text ( you can use your name, or anything ), and in here I am using 'BLANDS' for the text, with color code : 00ccff.

6. Then, duplicate the Text Layer by click Ctrl + J , then in the original Layer click use a right click and choose Convert to Smart Object.

7. In this step on the Original Layer ( in here BLANDS Layer ), we need to give a Blur effect, by click on Filter Menu > Blur > Gaussian Blur with a value : 11.0, then will be like this picture.

8. In this step we need to active on Layer Text Copy, the click use a right click, and choose Blending Options. Then set like in the picture below.

Drop Shadow 

Opacity : 50 % 

Size  : 16 px

After set the Drop Shadow, then set the Inner Glow

Inner Glow 

Opacity : 75 %

Size : 8 px 

Color : white (fffff)

Then Set the Inner Shadow 

Opacity : 40 %

And the last set the Bevel & Emboss ;

Depth : 185, UP

Size   : 3

Soften : 16

9. The next Give the masking in the Clounds Layer . And swipe up with a Black Color Brush, around the text to make darker.

10 In here we will give an effect on the Text. By making New Layer above the Clounds Layer. Give a name to The New Layer, 'Pan'.

Then use a Pen Tool, and make a pattern like in the Picture below, after that still active on Pen Tool, and on the Line Object that you make, use a right click > Stroke Path > and change the pencil to the Brush. Then use a right click , and click Delete Path. Remember, you must use the Small Size of Brush. Use a Black Color Brush.

11. In this step, you must active on Layer Pan, that is above the Clounds layer. Then use a right click > choose Blending Options . And set the Bevel and Emboss. As in the picture below. If you want to make like in the result picture, the step end here.

12. Then make the New Layer above the Pan Layer. After that use a Brush Tool and give the big size use a Light Blue color ( 00ccff ).  And swipe up above the text. Then change the Blending Mode to the Soft Light, and reduce the Opacity. And done.  This is the result of this Tutorial.
